Your Echo Clean can produce 2 different solutions depending on the production method used. Both solutions are safe for household surfaces. It has not been tested specifically on clothes, but it is not bleach, It is a bleach alternative. If you want to use on clothes, we suggest doing a spot test cleaning at first to check and make sure there isn't any negative impact. Here is what the 2 solutions are typically used for:Hypochlorous Acid (No Salt Added)As A Cleaner: Hypochlorous acid is much stronger as a disinfectant than bleach, but it has lower pH, salt content, and parts per million of chlorine. You can use less Hypochlorous Acid and still get the same (or better) effect as you would with bleach. This should not harm any surfaces.Sodium Hypochlorite (99% Refined Salt Added)Sodium Hypochlorite created is not bleach, it is an alternative to bleach. It is a cleaner even more potent than Hypochlorous Acid, without actually being bleach. Although it carries a bleach-like aroma, rest assured it’s friendly for use around your home as a disinfectant. Just remember to avoid direct contact with skin or food as If it contacts tissues, it can cause injury. Breathing Sodium Hypochlorite fumes may also cause health risks especially if mixed with other products. Always use appropriate safety when cleaning with Sodium Hypochlorite.
